Berkshire offers a pure own-occupation definition of total disability with medical specialty language to age 65 for all physicians, dentists and surgeons.
There are a couple of other choices for pure own-occupation disability insurance for physicians and surgeons, however the Provider Plus disability insurance policy from Berkshire and Guardian is the only disability policy to offer pure own-occupation to age 65, with a recovery benefit to age 65 with the residual disability rider, and no restrictions on mental or nervous disabilities like many of the competiitors contracts. |
